Being Stuck with KIds
Thursday, April 20th, 2006It has been a while since I last wrote my entry here…well, I don’t know if my reason is good or if it is bad. All I know is that I am enjoying whatever is taking up my while.
Well, since I went back to Laguna, yah know, chillin’ out and taking the luxury of being lazy after a very haggard semester, my little sisters (aged 9 and 10) and my equally young cousins, plus my nephews and nieces (Boy! They are really swarming our house like plague!) immediately started to bombard the shield I made for myself (so much for my solitary and hermit mode.)
My younger sisters: (Nikki) Ate, bili ka ng cd. Yung games sa computer?
(Yamee) Oo nga ate, bakasyon na e. Nung pasukan nga hindi na kami nakakapaglaro sa computer namin e.
So there! Later on I found myself buying a Barbie as Rapunzel PC games for them somewhere in Ayala. (Actaully, Barbie and the
Swan Lake PC games was my first choice but they could not find the copy so they suggested Barbie as Rapunzel and I was like: Yeah ok!
Para lang sa mga kapatid ko yan e.)
It took us only a day to finish the game. (Boy! It was so easy. I was the first one to play, by the way. ;p)
Then my cousin: (
Roy ) Ate April laro ka ng Tomb Raider 3…
My sisters echoed: Oo nga ate! Ang tagal mo nang hindi nilalaro si Lara…
I was like: E hindi na nga ako nakakauwi dito nung pasukan e.
(
Roy again) Sige na Ate April…
So there! I am currently addicted to Tomb Raider 3. But sometimes, when I am not in the mood to play…they keep on following me wherever I go and keep on asking, “Ate, maglalaro ka? (With expectant eyes and smiles…)
My nephew (aged 4) Raeniel: Tita A, magyayaro ka ng Tomb Wreyder?
I am telling you guys…you would not have the heart to turn them down. So I end up playing as Lara Croft everyday. (With the kids screaming, closing their eyes, sometimes plugging their ears with their fingers whenever Lara encounters her enemies) Hah! ;0
I am stuck with these kids but I am happy.
