The Quest of the Moonshadow Walker.

So I wasn’t able to go "Home Sweet Home" this weekend, thus I went to
church (CCF at St. Francis Square) with Digo and his family. After
that, they decided to go bowling. I was so thrilled!!! It has been 4
years since I last played bowling with my dad. Busy days and all make
Asta’s bowling gritty (or so I thought. Haha!)

The
first set was awful…my muscles still adjusting and warming up, then
came the second set. Im proud to say that I’m not gritty at all!!! With
only few points behind Digo (who’s into bowling recently…pagbigyan mo
na ako Digo, bowling is really one of my fave sports. )

After bowling, we dined at Cafe Breton. Sumptuous!!!

Written by the great Francisco Baltazar, "Orosman at Zafira" is a love
story set in the period of war. The play presents the struggles of the
three kingdoms as well as the individuals constrained by love and war.

The
pacing richly supports the reinforcement of tension among the warring
kingdoms in which the second part of the play is stuffed with
provocative, perky, energetic, and brisk dancing and movements. A real
spectacle! I love the portrayals of figthing or battling through
vigorous and animated dancing. It makes me want to go up the stage and
join them. But nah, I just let the burst of energy that the play
elicited from me to be transformed into gleeful and delighted clapping!

A visual delight indeed!

Napapanahon.

Tinatalakay dito sa rock musical na ito ang buhay nina Evelio Javier at Edgar Jopson. Hindi man sila nagkadaupang-palad, pareho ang isinisigaw ng kanilang puso–ang makatulong sa bayan sa alam at pinaniniwalaan nilang paraan.

Pinakita dito ang magkaiba nilang pamamaraan sa pagkamit ng kanilang iisang layunin na labanan ang namumunong diktador na si Marcos at ang mga katiwalian ng kaniyang rehimen.

Nagustuhan ko ang pag-maximize sa space ng entablado bilang tanghalan at ang pag-iilaw ay mas nagdagdag ng kulay sa kuwento at emosyon ng dula.

May mga panahon nga lamang na ang mga boses ay nalalamon ng banda at minsan ay talagang hindi nagtutugma sa aking pandinig.

May pagkakataon din na hindi ako maksasunod sa layon at nalilito ako sa daloy ng mga pangyayari.

Pangkalahatan ay nagustuhan ko siya, kasama na ang mga pabugso-bugsong pagtawa sa ilang mga kaganapan.
